bits of my weekend- volume 11

We had another lovely weekend.

Tea at Alice's Tea Cup.
Highly recommend the chocolate, strawberry tea and the pumpkin scones.

A little trip to FAO Schwartz with Grandma Gigi.

The most fabulous craft project ever. Playfoam sculpting beads never gets hard, is not messy, and is also quite addictive for adults to play with.

For Mother's Day, I requested a family photo. They all miraculously obliged. This made me quite happy!

What did you do this weekend? I'd love to know!

Add your linky here. But, please link directly to your post that is about what you did over the weekend. It's great if you title it "Bits of My Weekend." But you don't have to.

If you merely link to your blog and a random post that has nothing to do with your weekend, I'm afraid I'm going to have to be mean and delete your link. Gasp! Please don't make me do that. But please share your weekend!

Your boys are so handsome! That's a great family photo. That is my request every year for Christmas, a family photo. Some years we've got smiles, some years we've got, "oh crap, here she goes again with the stupid photo." The fact that I only use my camera timer once a year for this photo and can never remember how to do it doesn't help.

I think I'm gonna have to find somewhere in Australia that sells that playfoam stuff! Looks ace!

Love love love that teapot! And I'm a Grandma Gigi too. My granddaughter came up with the name for me. I'm going to have to get a family photo sometime soon. Thought about it a Christmas or two ago, but it never happened. Glad you had a wonderful weekend and Mother's Day!

Looks like you had a great Mother's Day weekend.

Thanks again for hosting this. I really do think it is awesome and it helps ensure I actually get out of the house on the weekend - which isn't always easy after working all week. Thanks again!

Wow. What a gorgeous family you are! Are you sure you didn't just assemble a bunch of NYC models and take their photo?

great family photo! we're starting to get into that teen-photo-angst phase too :) i remember those days, where for a period of 6 years all photos of me were with a severe scowl on my face -- good for you getting them all smiling!

All I wanted for Mother's Day was a picture too!

I recently stumbled across your blog and I love it. I have since gone back a read far back into your archives. New York City facinates me... maybe it's because I've never been there and have wanted to go since I was a teenager. My cousin is going to school there and has been for almost 2 years now. I still would love to go visit that city!

Your family is beautiful and I will for sure come back to visit your blog regularly.

I also participated in your Bits of my Weekend with my Mother's Day Post because that's all I had. I look forward to continuing this weekly.

I've always wanted to go to Alice's Teacup. A lot of my friends have been there in the past few weeks, and now I want to go more now than ever. hehe

Happy Mother's Day to you! And love your outfit :)

On Saturday I took a student to Fresno State to compete in NFTE semifinals and then worked in the backyard on Sunday before a big storm blew in.

Cool Mum just sent me a link to your blog. It's good to see more families invading the city! Our weekend consisted of fun time in the park and another maddening trip to the Brooklyn IKEA.
