bits of my weekend- volume 5

We had a pretty quiet weekend here.

I went for a walk on Saturday. These homes on the Upper East Side are amazing, aren't they. I always wonder who lives here...

Outdoor cafes make me smile. Even when they are empty. It was quite chilly on Saturday, but the sunlight was gorgeous.

Short taxi ride across town to meet my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Tom who are in town visiting. It's always great to see family.

The exquisite Plaza Hotel on 5th Avenue.

What about you?

Even if it's chilly, it's always nice to have the sun! Looks like a nice weekend.

Looks like it was lovely! Now cold right, then warm, then cold...wish mother nature would make up her mind! Wanted you to know that I have added a new place on my blog for new places that I like to land. The list would not be complete without the 6 of you.
Hope you week is as lovely.

Love a good outdoor cafe!! One of my favorite parts about visiting Alicia in her neighborhood!

I hope to jump back in soon on these posts. Sorry I've not been around, but promise to reappear soon!

Quiet weekends in the City are my favorite... walking, relaxing, finding new places to visit.....

See you next Week!

Really lovely photos -- you're looking at one of the many brownstones I own in NYC --

Just teasing.

i LOVE your blog and think it's fabulous but i have one question. how did you deal so seamlessly with middle and high school? i'm moving back and have young kids but this makes me SO nervous! how have they adjusted to that aspect of it.....

I too, like Molly, have wondered about your schooling choices--public or private? I gather close by since you had your cute video a few weeks ago when you walk the kids to school. What are the schools like in NYC?

I couldn't find your email to let you know I tagged you in a Children's Miracle Network Easter Basket Blog Hop... check it out at my blog and play along if you like. And happy Easter! I look forward to seeing your pictures after the weekend.

I just found your blog - great posts and pictures. As a lifelong newyorker (upper east-sider as well, neighbor!) I really enjoy seeing how you are experiencing the city as a transplant. My husband and I actively try to appreciate and enjoy the city daily. I'd like to put your bits of my weekend button on my blogs, but am having trouble doing so, could you explain how to do it? thanks! ps- how nice is it out today!?!?
