As I've mentioned before, my older 2 boys are not fond of the camera. And by "not fond" I mean they treat me like I'm the evil paparazzi and they're the famous movie stars who complain about how I'm invading their sense of privacy. It's not pretty.
But now my 3rd son, Jackson, is headed that way as well. It must be something that happens to boys around puberty. You know along with all those
other things. Anyway, this is what happened on a recent walk.
Ugh, There is that camera again. They tricked me. This time Dad has it. I'm going to give him the evil eye to see if he understands how I feel about cameras.
OK. He clearly does not get that my life sucks because of this.
I'm going to try and out-maneuver him.
And fake to the right...now.
Dang it! He's fast for an old man.
I'll just try standing behind mom and that enormous pink scarf she has on.

I think it happens before puberty, Michelle. My son is only 7 but he's been dodging my camera for the past year and a half.
I love that your son is trying to escape while your daughter tries to get into the pic. Sooo cute!
That's hilarious. My son is going on 8 and he hates that I have the camera all up in his business. Ha!
Love the shadows on the houses in pictures 5 and 6. Gorgeous light this time of the year.
Adorable -- all three of you! And you look like a million bucks in that enormous pink scarf.
I came across your blog yesterday and I love it!! What a wonderful experience for you and your family!
Look at that gorgeous day! Oh, NYC! At least you still have your gorgeous daughter to photograph!
I LOVE that Lilly is also wearing a scarf!!! So CUTE!!
Thanks:-) She likes to be my mini-me.
Yep, my 13-year-old gives me the stink-eye all the time when the camera is pointed at him. If I snap real quick, I might be able to get a shot or two before it all turns south...
What an interesting life you have!
My kiddos are not fond of the camera either:(
