By doing so, he knew he would also escape the jaws of this 7 year old.
He noticed (despite the grimy windows) there was a big beautiful world out there and decided to make a break for it.
Unfortunately, the big bad shag rug grabbed him before he could make it to the door.

Shoot! Here I was cheering for a clean escape and then BAM.......the rug ruined the outcome!
I thought you were going to show what a peep looked like after flying out your window. How many story's are you up?
I surreptitiously threw out some of Mr. Peep's Los Angeles cousins today. And I don't feel guilty, either.
Thank you! I was telling my daughter about peeps and now she can see one. We live in England and they don't have peeps here. Not a confection I would normally encourage but it just doesn't feel like Easter without them.
I really want to see more of the Peep's journey in to the city!
