fear of commitment

Rod, wearing a ski cap inside the house: "Michelle, don't you think we should turn on the heat?"

Me: "No, I can't do that."

Rod: "Why not?"

Me: "Because then I'm committing to winter, and I'm just not ready to do that yet."

    I hear ya. I HAD to break down and turn the heat on. I wanted to get the chill out of the air and then we just got used to the heat so I guess it stays on!

    He needn't worry - soon your bodies will heat the square footage of your new place up just fine.
